Miranda Lambert is aware that Anderson East might pop the question by the end of the year, which is why she is clearing up her head and her heart, and she needs Blake Shelton’s help.
Yes, you have read correctly.
The country diva has been telling fans before she says “I do” to East, she needs to have a sit-down with her ex-husband to understand why their marriage failed.
Her goal is not to repeat the mistakes of the past because she wants a lasting romance and a family with East.
A family friend had the following to say about the potential meeting to In Touch magazine: “It needs to be done. There’s still a lot of unfinished business between [Miranda] and Blake. She needs to look straight into Blake’s eyes, ask certain questions, and get answers.”
The chatty pal went on to explain that while Lambert is aware that the conversation could get heated, she is hoping that Shelton will agree to have a final sit-down with her to discuss what lead to their divorce.
According to the same person, Lambert is not interested in getting an apology from her former spouse; she only wants to have a better understanding of where she went wrong.
Thus far it is not known if The Voice coach is aware or has replied to the alleged tête-à-tête offer.
Another source spoke to Us Magazine and said that the proposal is imminent and could take place around the Christmas holiday.
The person revealed: “He is crazy about Miranda, and she is so smitten with him as well. Their friends can see them getting engaged in the near future.”
The pal said they complete each other and added: “They love to play music together, drink, have fun and hang out. They have so much fun together. He is so attentive to her and is always playing her compliments. They just balance each other out so well.”
The pair celebrated their two-year anniversary of dating on September 12 and Lambert marked the milestone with a sweet note that read: “Oh how I remember well, sunset on September 12th… #PushingTime #2yearstoday #bamaboy @andersoneast @bfluke.”
Fans were happy to congratulate the couple.
