After thinking the matter through, Blake Shelton has decided that he does not want to have to have any children, (well not now, at least), because he is already a father to Gwen Stefani’s three boys — Kingston, 12, Zuma, 9, and Apollo, 4.
For several months, rumors have been swirling around claiming that Gwen might be pregnant, but a close source to Blake has once and for all put an end to those stories.
The friend claimed that the country singer has his plate full with the diva’s three children and he feels complete.
The person told Hollywood Life: “Blake has had constant thoughts of being a father, and when it gets to a fever pitch, he brings himself back to earth and decides against it. The reason for that is that he has his hands full with Gwen’s kids and he is enjoying how that is going. The freedom of his career is a big deterrent as well.”
However, never say never. According to the same source, The Voice coach admires what George Clooney has been able to do.
At the age of 57, the famous actor who is married to Amal just celebrated his twins, Ella and Alexander’s first birthdays. Blake can change his mind in the next 14 years.
The insider had this to say: “He feels that it might be cool to be a father later in life kind of like how George Clooney did it, He knows certain preparations would have to be made especially if he wanted Gwen’s child. It might go through surrogate or adoption by that time, but all those options are very much on the table and have been talked about.”
It seems that the pair is not in a rush to get married either.
A second source explained: “Gwen and Blake have spoken about getting married, and it’s something that they definitely do want to do one day, but they’re really happy with the way things are right now, and they’ve both been married before, so they don’t see the point of rushing things.”
Some fans will be disappointed with this development because they were hoping for children.
