Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are in the middle of another feud, yet they might be set for another awkward reunion next month. After Shelton blasted his ex-wife on social media for hooking up with a married man, the two were nominated for the upcoming CMT Music Awards. Will they meet each other in Nashville on June 6?
Shelton and Lambert’s relationship has been strained ever since they parted ways in the summer of 2015. But their feud kicked into high gear a few weeks ago after news broke that Lambert was romantically involved with Evan Felker of the Turnpike Troubadours. Felker was married when he hooked up with Lambert, which inspired Shelton to throw a little shade on Twitter.
Been taking the high road for a long time.. I almost gave up. But I can finally see something on the horizon up there!! Wait!! Could it be?! Yep!! It’s karma!!

Most fans suspected that Shelton was taking a dig at his former wife, and inside sources claim that they are right on the money. It’s been three years since Shelton and Lambert announced their divorce, but a lot of bitterness still remains on both sides.
In fact, the insider says that Shelton was taking a shot at the country star and thoroughly enjoys humiliating his former wife, and current love Gwen Stefani actually supports him taking digs at her.
Although it has not been officially confirmed, Shelton served Lambert divorce papers because he suspected that she was having an affair (something Lambert’s people deny).
With their feud fresh, the upcoming CMT Music Awards could get interesting. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Shelton and Lambert have been nominated in categories for their most recent work. Lambert is up for female video of the year for her song, “Tin Man,” while Shelton is competing for male video of the year for his track, “I’ll Name The Dogs.”
We don’t know if Lambert and Shelton will run into each other at the event, but their ongoing feud should make for some awkward moments on the red carpet. Especially if Shelton brings Stefani as his plu one. There’s also a good chance that Lambert says something about what went down with Felker and takes a shot at Shelton.
Her relationship with the Turnpike Troubadours singer started around the same time she broke things off with Anderson East, which sparked rumors that East caught her cheating. There’s no telling what will go down, but it’s pretty clear that Lambert won’t take the insults without hitting back.
