Miranda Lambert won the award for song of the year this past weekend at the Academy of Country Music Awards. But, while she opened up about her broken heart during her acceptance speech, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani weren’t afraid to flaunt their love while sitting in the audience.
Lambert turned something bad into something good during the awards show, while accepting her trophy for her single Tin Man from her album The Weight of These Wings. The singer took to the stage and let fans know just how much she appreciated their undying support during tough times.
“Thank you guys so much for sharing my broken heart with me,” Lambert said in her acceptance speech.
Lambert’s win was record-breaking, giving her the most ACMs ever with 30 victories and breaking her tie with Brooks & Dunn.
She wrote the award-winning song after her 2015 divorce from Shelton. Not long after, she started dating Anderson East, but they just recently ended their two-year relationship.
Meanwhile, Shelton and Stefani were in the crowd for a country date night, and he had his arm around his girlfriend as she looked stunning in a plunging, short red dress, and super straight blonde hair.
The duo looked to be having a good time as they sang along to Maren Morris’ performance of her song Rich.
Then, later in the evening, Shelton got on stage to sing his hit single I Lived It, and Stefani sang along before jumping out of her seat to give her boyfriend a standing ovation when the song ended.

After the show, Stefani posed solo for photos backstage and showed off her hot dress that she paired with thigh-high boots.
The awards ceremony ended a busy weekend for the couple that featured Stefani attending an event in Las Vegas on Friday for her new residency Gwen Stefani: Just A Girl which kicks off in June at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood. And on Saturday, Shelton attended the ACM rehearsals.
Another country superstar who showed up at the awards was Luke Bryan, and he made it clear during an interview that Shelton should marry Stefani as soon as possible. He even said he would be honored to perform the ceremony.

The American Idol judge joked that Shelton would be smart to tie the knot with Stefani quickly before she goes to an optometrist, and he believes she can’t see because every time he sees her, she is always holding her phone way out away from her face.
Shelton and Bryan have a history of ribbing each other, with The Voice judge once saying that when people start watching Idol, they are going to realize just how dumb Bryan is.
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani both admit they think about getting married, so stay tuned.
