Tokyo Toni, Blac Chyna’s mother, took over social media in a furry, trying to slam her daughter’s future sister-in-law, Kim Kardashian, over the trademark Kardashian name.
Toni did not hesitate to defend her daughter against those who don’t think Chyna is a real Kardashian because she is not married to Rob yet. She wrote:
“My mini me is the next baddest thing to me HANDS DOWN- From Blacchyna [sic] to soon- to- be [sic] Angela Renee Kardashian mother of Dream Kardashian and Mr. King Cairo Stevenson.”
“SHE IS A REAL WOMAN!” Toni went on with her lengthy tirade. “You can’t just stop what God has plans for.”
At first the posts seemed to be general and filled with pride for her daughter that was being treated unfairly. Later posts made it clear that she was throwing shade at the entire Kardashian family. She said: “You can do whatever once you get married people with your name . . .I would have b*****s for brunch today! Eat them alive.”
What fueled Tokyo Toni’s burst of anger is the fact that recently, Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and their brands decided to oppose Chyna’s official request to trademark and profit off of the name “Angela Renee Kardashian.”
The reason why the request was denied, according to the United States Patent and Trademark Office papers, is because the Kardashian sisters think Chyna’s use of the Kardashian name would confuse fans.
The lawyers of the three sisters stated that Kardashian followers and fans would be “likely to mistakenly believe Applicant is affiliated with or endorsed by Opposers…which it is not,”
But that is not all. The lawyers also stated, in the name of the Kardashians, that the former stripper’s new name might destroy their hard-earned credibility. The attorney stated that they “will suffer damage including irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill if the Opposed Mark is allowed to register.”
