The judge overseeing the sexual assault case of Bill Cosby denied his motion to reschedule the trial. Celebrity Insider reported earlier in the week that, after a witness outburst, the case had been pushed to a later date.
However, this motion was denied by the judge. Chelan Lasha addressed Bill directly in court when she asked the former comedian, “you remember, don’t you?” – regarding his supposed assault on her.
As you may know, Cosby is currently fighting against charges of sexual assault on Andrea Constand, whom he supposedly molested back in 2004.
Last year, the case ended in a mistrial because the jurors couldn’t come to a unanimous decision. According to multiple reports, the judge is allowing testimony from another woman who’s accusing the comedic legend of assault.
Nearly 100 women have accused Cosby of sexual impropriety ranging from harassment, assault, and all the way up to rape. Bill supposedly gave women drugs without their consent and molested them while they were nearly unconscious.
Today, Lasha, who used to work as a model and actress, started crying in the middle of the cross-examination. She told her story of assault, one whereby Bill supposedly assaulted her inside the Elvis Presley suite at the Las Vegas Hilton.
Lasha claimed Cosby gave her a pill which he said was an anti-histamine. Lasha started blowing her nose because she had a cold, and Cosby suggested she ingest a little blue pill, which she did. According to the accuser, once she started to lose consciousness, Cosby walked her to another room where he touched her breasts and humped her leg while she could barely move.
Lasha turned around and asked Cosby if he remembered it, resulting in the entire court and jury gasping in shock. As a result, Cosby’s attorney asked for a retrial, but the motion was denied.
However, in defense of Cosby, the woman supposedly has a criminal record including lying and filing false reports to police. Lasha’s lawyer said that was merely an attempt to smear her reputation as a witness.
