Following Andrea Constand’s win in the sexual assault case against Bill Cosby, she took to Twitter to celebrate her success. Bill faced off against Andrea in a court of law for drugging and sexually assaulting her fourteen years ago.
Constand thanked the officials overseeing the case including the jury members and the district attorney of the Commonwealth Of PA.
As it was previously reported, Cosby was convicted of three charges, penetration without consent, penetrating while intoxicated, and administering an intoxicant.
During the case which determined Cosby’s fate, Andrea claimed Cosby gave her three blue pills and requested she take some wine. After she slipped into unconsciousness, Cosby sexually assaulted her.

Constand said she “jolted awake,” and realized Cosby was penetrating her vagina forcefully and touching her breasts. She explained, “I was limp, and I couldn’t fight him off.”
As you may know, Bill and Andrea have gone to court over the matter once in the past, but it ended in a mistrial because the jury couldn’t come to a unanimous decision.
Moreover, over sixty women have accused Cosby of similar crimes, while another forty accused him of other misconduct ranging in severity.
Bill hasn’t been sentenced yet, and the date for that day hasn’t been scheduled, but he faces up to thirty years in prison. However, the sentences for all three of the charges can be served concurrently.
The lawyers of Bill said they were very disappointed with the verdict, and will be appealing. Tom Mesereau stated, “we don’t think Mr. Cosby is guilty of anything.” Until he is sentenced, Cosby cannot leave his home and has turned in his passport to the authorities so he can’t leave the country.
