It looks like the ‘inappropriate behavior and offensive comments’ of some of the Big Brother contestants on this season have outraged the reality TV show’s audience. As a result, CBS has issued an official warning.
Although the network has not actually mentioned any names, this week, TMZ reported on something that happened during Big Brother’s live feed online.
That being said, the problematic footage shows J.C. Mounduix trying to put an ice cream scooper either around or in the private parts of other fellow contestants who at the time were lying on a bed.
In yet another clip also posted by TMZ, comments many of the show’s viewers saw as racist were made by Angela Rummans and Rachel Swindler.
CBS revealed the following statement to E! News: ‘Big Brother is a reality show about watching a group of people who have absolutely no privacy 24/7—and capturing every single unfiltered moment and conversation in their lives. At times, the housemates reveal prejudices and exhibit behavior that we do not condone.’
‘The producers have addressed two such incidents that were seen recently on the 24/7 online feed.’
‘In both cases, the people involved have been warned about their inappropriate behavior and their offensive comments, as well as the future consequences. These events won’t be part of any future Big Brother broadcast on CBS.’
The twentieth season of the popular reality TV show premiered just last week, and there are already problems? It doesn’t sound good at all, but hopefully, the contestants have learned their lesson.
Have you been keeping up with Big Brother? What do you think about the housemates and their behavior?
