When tragedy happens, sometimes people put their feuds and drama behind them and choose to honor the memory of the one lost. This is what happened following the saddening passing of Jill Zarin’s husband. The man lost the battle with cancer and Bethenny Frankel pressed the pause button on her feud with Jill and took to social media to post a tribute to the man.
‘‘Here is to those who wish us well. All the rest can go to hell.’ One of Bobby Zarin’s favorites. Another one: ‘It is all good,’ and Bobby, now it is… #RIP,’ Bethenny shared on Twitter.
For years – eight to be exact – the former best friends have been feuding, but it looks like, despite all that, Frankel still had the ability to put aside the bad blood at the proper moment.
‘There are no words to describe how heartbroken we all are. Thank you, everyone for your love, and support during this difficult time,’ Jill posted on her official website yesterday, announcing her husband’s passing.
We are very happy Frankel managed to make peace at least for a short while, especially because Jill has stated before that if she ever met Bethenny unexpectedly again, she wouldn’t be angry.
‘I have no idea. I think I’d say, ‘I do not even remember what it was about. I do not even remember what we fought about.’ I would give her a hug and a kiss, absolutely,’ Jill told Andy Cohen when he asked what she’d do if she’d see Bethenny again.
Although the comfort Frankel gave her former BFF on social media was touching enough, for now, that hug would be even better!
Were you surprised by Frankel’s tribute?
