The 44-year-old Hollywood vet opened up about his career and personal life while appearing on Times Talk at the NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts on Monday night. When asked what the most defining moment of his life has been, the Batman star didn’t hesitate with his answer.
“In my career or otherwise, it is the birth of my children,” he said. “The entrance of my children into the world.”
Affleck also acknowledged how vital his ex wife Jennifer Garner is calling her the “worlds greatest mom.”
“It’s a joy to hang out with them,” he added. “I think the meaning of life is to make good people.”

The on-again off-again couple have been spotted running errands, getting coffee and going to church together since their separation. Heck Ben even lives in the families guest house, reports the Daily Mail.
‘The Batman’ is slated to start filming in he next few months. Affleck will star write and direct the new iteration of the caped crusador.
“We still have to get a screenplay and get it together,” Affleck explained. “I’m a real believer in not reverse engineering projects to meet a window or a date, but rather when you get the right story, the right idea, the right thing, then you make the movie. That’s what we’re doing, and I’m hoping to get that done. I’m spending a lot of time working on that, but also working on other stuff.”
Let’s hope he can pull it off.
