Bella Hadid is, once again, fighting back against social media haters who are targeting her for her good looks. As the world knows, models are frequently slammed online for their appearances, with commenters accusing them of plastic surgery and other fraud.
And, in a new interview with InStyle Magazine, posted on the 31st of May, Thursday, Bella dishes on the rumors that she has been going under the knife for surgical modifications.
According to the supermodel, people accuse her constantly of “this or that,” but “we can do a scan of my face, darling.” The model said she is horrified of touching her face with any kind of surgery because she fears messing it up.
It’s not a risk she’s willing to take. Hadid also talked about her past struggle with accepting the way she looks.
Hadid grew up as a kid with large, disproportionate hips and “was kind of chubby,” she said. Gigi, on the other hand, was athletic and “had a six-pack.” Although it’s a hard thing to believe, Hadid claims she was actually bullied for her “features.”
Nevertheless, Hadid frequently responds to her haters on the platform. In an old Instagram post, while responding to a bitter fan, jealousy is a “cry for help” which she wishes she could help some of the trolls with.
As you may know, dealing with trolls on social media platforms is just part of being a celebrity, and each star has their own way of dealing with it. Some are better at it than others.
Hadid said it took her a long time to get over the mean comments. She began to realize that she just shouldn’t listen, period. Sometimes, she even turns her phone off.
“Why would I read those comments,” Hadid said. The truth is, no matter what a person does, people will hate you. Having critics is a part of living life, and she has accepted that. Hadid said there’s nothing a person can do other than “be yourself and love yourself.”
