Chris Brown has been previously arrested on suspicion of assault made with a deadly weapon back in August. After that, Brown was released on bail and his attorney claimed that Baylee Curran lied. She was recently participating in Miss Greater Inland Empire pageant in California, when she was embarrassed in front of everybody because the DJ played a song that belonged to Brown.
She hit the headlines in August when she claimed that the star Chris Brown pulled a gun on her. As she was hitting the runway at the pageant, the cheeky DJ played one of Brown’s songs, completely embarrassing her. However, she did not let herself be intimidated by this and continued with her participating in the contest.
The moment was both funny and lame as the model came down the runway in a fabulous evening gown. The DJ’s joke consisted in playing the “Don’t Wake Me Up” song that hit the charts. Her reaction was to take it all in her stride. Unfortunately, she did not succeed to come in top three and stormed off after the competition.
The director of the pageant declared for TMZ that the song was in fact just a coincidence that had nothing to do with the previous scandal. Mark Geragos, who works as Chris Brown’s attorney, claimed that Curran lied last month when she told the police the Brown pointed a gun at her and told her to get out while she was checking out some diamond jewelry at his place.
As such, Brown was arrested under suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Later on, he was freed after he paid a $250,000 bail. His lawyer also declared that Curran had previously been involved in other similar three incidents involving false accusations.
