At the end of 2017, Basketball Wives star, Jennifer Williams, revealed that her ex-boyfriend allegedly stalked her and now, after their breakup, she wants a restraining order against him.
In a report from TMZ, James Norman is the perpetrator, and Jennifer wants a judge to file a domestic restraining order to keep him far away.
However, last month, Norman filed a restraining order against her and claimed that she slashed his tires while in a “rage.” According to the documents obtained by the publication, Williams says that he lied purely to create publicity for himself and his television show.
Norman is the star of the series, Welcome To Sweetie Pies featured on OWN. In response to his court order, Williams said she did not harm his vehicle and had an alibi as well: she claims she was at a friend’s for a dinner celebrating a birthday.
According to Williams, Norman was abusive toward her throughout their relationship, citing an incident in September of 2016 when he “verbally abused her” and threatened to beat someone up who looked at her while at a Drake concert.
Jennifer shared screenshots of their text messages exchanges where Norman accused her of facilitating the attention of a “sand n*gga.” He also called her a “lying b*tch.
Following their tumultuous breakup, Williams alleges that her ex-boyfriend has been harassing her and her friends, in an attempt to talk to her.
Reportedly, Evelyn Lozada – her Basketball Wives co-star – is serving as a witness in court. Lozada said in court that Williams was incredibly fearful of Norman because he tended to become violent.
