We have to admit, that was a pretty problematic post. Too soon, Jenelle, too soon!
Teen Mom star Jennelle Evans was slammed by many social media users when she decided to share a picture of her posing with a big gun not too long after the horrible Florida school shooting!
In fact, just hours following the armed attack that caused 17 lives to be lost, Evans posted the controversial pic on her Instagram page.
It is safe to say that fans of the popular show mostly agreed that was a pretty ‘WTF’ moment on her part.
Jenelle, who was wearing all black, posed with the massive gun trying to look all cool but people saw the whole thing as utterly insensitive instead, given the circumstances.
The woman did notice the backlash that was coming her way in the comments and took the wise decision to delete the problematic snap.
But considering that she was not the only one who had posted it, things didn’t get much better for her.
Her husband David Eason shared the same pic on his own platform and even after Jenelle deleted hers, his remained up.
What made it even worse is that David was well aware people were enraged by it but instead of following in his wife’s footsteps, he just disabled the comment section!
‘My babe’s a bad a** babe! Happy Valentine’s day! #targetpractice#valentinesday #safetyfirst,’ the man captioned the pic.
But while people can no longer comment on Instagram, the backlash can still be seen on Twitter, where he also shared it.
‘How the hell do you think this is Okay to post today considering what’s happened in Florida?’ one angry user slammed him.
‘Do you even watch the news? Listen to the radio? Such bad timing,’ another wrote.
After all of that, Eason did not apologize, but instead slammed back at the haters saying: ‘What do you think I sit around all day watching TV and check the news before I post a pic… um no b***h.’
