In case you were pondering whether to get yourself some tickets to the Las Vegas residency performance of the Backstreet Boys, you might get a hint about what to decide. The beloved boy band surprised their fans and not only when they appeared at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Saturday evening. They had a surprise performance and sang some of their most popular hits.
Yes, you read that well. Kevin Richardson, Nick Carter, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Howie Dorough made a surprise appearance at the event and set the city on fire with their mini set. After they sang their old popular songs, they joined Florida Georgia Line, the country crooners, in order to interpret “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)”.
Moreover, if you think about the fact that Britney Spears was on the headlines earlier in that night, you might even say that the 2000s were back, even if it was just for one evening. If you were convinced by the performance, then you should totally head back and get those tickets for the show!
Among the hits they interpreted there were also “I Want It That Way” and “As Long As You Love Me”. There are some other good news too: it seems that the boy band will imitate Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears and start a residency in Las Vegas. The show will be named “Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life”. It will be live starting the first of March next year at The AXIS, in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
They also talked about this while on stage and according to Littrell, it will like a regular BSB show, just on steroids. It seems that the expectations are quite high, but also the expectation is long until March. Carter also declared that they are excited too to bring the experience of a tour to Vegas and to create unforgettable memories for their fans.
