Tekashi69 hasn’t been the most inconspicuous person in the world, and the police apparently agree with that sentiment. TMZ revealed that there exists a video clip of Tekashi69 ordering what he calls a “30-pack” on the cousin of Chief Keef, a threat that corroborates the same timeline as another shooting in New York City.
TMZ claims that Tekashi, or Daniel Hernandez, FaceTime’d Chief Keef’s cousin, Tadoe, back in May, and asked for where he lived repeatedly. An anonymous person filmed Daniel as he spoke on the phone with another, and the publication posted the clip just last week following the authorities detainment of him.
Later on in the clip, Hernandez says, “I got a 30-pack on him right now.” Reportedly, that’s gangster-wannabe talk for putting a $30,000 price on someone’s head.
Investigators are now entirely convinced that Mr. Hernandez, 22, was the one to call in the hit on Chief Keef. Previously, an anonymous person shot at Keef and his crew while they were outside the W Hotel in Times Square.
Tadoe was standing around at that same time, and the “30-pack” video has altered the New York Police’s understanding of the shooting entirely. One source who spoke with the publication claims that the video wasn’t a coincidence at all.
Now the police believe the target wasn’t actually Chief Keef but Tadoe. The police also have two individuals of interest related to the Times Square incident, one being someone that Hernandez knows personally.
Thus far, however, police have laid no charges for the crime. As it was previously reported, this all comes after Tekashi69 was taken into police custody on racketeering charges following additional sex-related charges involving a thirteen-year-old girl.
Mr. Hernandez is potentially facing a life sentence for gang-related charges, illegal under federal law. It turns out that Mr. Hernandez’s fears of a “fed-case” were legitimate.
During an appearence on The Breakfast Club with Charlamagne Tha God and the other co-hosts, Tekashi said he only feared “God and a Fed Case.” Fellow NYC rapper, Fat Joe, warned Daniel previously, urging him to curb his behavior otherwise he’d face repercussions.
