Ashanti has curves that will go on for days, and she is delighting her fans by flaunting them in a series of colorful bikinis from her vacation in Hawaii.
The famous singer, who dominated the charts in the 1990s and 2000s, is also embroiled in an odd controversy after a fan called her a stripper during one of her concerts.
Nowadays, celebrities are very active on social media to keep their fans updated and to push their brands.
Ashanti recently managed to kill two birds with one stone.
The artist shared pictures from her Hawaiian vacation where she is wearing a bright yellow as she strolled on a beautiful beach on the archipelago.
She captioned one of the photos: “Tropics in the winter…#sayless.”
The Bride and Prejudice and John Tucker Must Die actress captioned another: “You appreciate your journey once you realize some of the mountains are now behind you…”
A few days later, the diva from New York returned to social media where she unveiled new photos in a bright pink bikini.
Her caption read: “Paradise on Paradise.”
A few weeks ago, Ashanti was on stage giving dancers lap dances when a fan started throwing dollar bills at her.
She clapped back by telling the woman: “Let me tell you something – stop, stop stop. I need you to stop throwing that money, I am not an f****** stripper, OK?”
The fan rushed to Instagram to give a bruising response.
The lady wrote: “WAIT Ashanti ain’t that you in your background video throwing money? And aren’t you giving a lap dance?. Cardi B is ‘the only one winning right now.”
Fans are still talking about the incident.
One commenter said: “Your body is amazing, but you have posted enough pictures over the last couple of months now how about some music. A new album.”
Another follower mentioned Blac Chyna, who is a former stripper by writing: “After all these years you still look good, but I gotta say, Blac Chyna, Look who took your old job at the club!!!! Apparently, Ashanti is a stripper now, everyone peep this.”
In the midst of all of this controversy, the stunning diva is promoting her upcoming album with the new single “Say Less.”
Here is what she had to say about the track: “I think nowadays we have to make it very clear that if it’s B.S., say less. I’m a New Yorker. It’s a very New York term. And I think it’s just about being bold and getting to the point. I don’t have time for you to waste it.”
Ashanti cannot be stopped.
