Arrow star Stephen Amell rocked a new look during the big Arrowverse crossover last year. The actor played Oliver Queen from Earth-X, a version that was considerably more evil than his Earth-1 counterpart. Fans responded well to the change in action and it seemed like Amell had a blast switching things up. While we don’t know what this year’s crossover event has in store, Amell recently teased that more changes are in the works.
Amell teased fans about the upcoming crossover with a mysterious tweet. The actor revealed that he just “got fitted” for Oliver’s crossover costume and “never could’ve imagined” how it turned out.

Amell did not clarify what he meant by the new outfit, but it sounds like he might not be playing Oliver from Earth-1 during the crossover. What are the chances that we see a completely new Green Arrow this season?
According to Carter Matt, the crossover has been dubbed “Elseworlds” and will introduce Batwoman to Arrowverse. We still do not know if Batwoman exists as a character in Earth-1 and it is entirely possible that she lives on Earth-23.
If that is the case, then we might even see Amell play a version of Batman for the crossover, which would be pretty amazing.
Arrow has been known to throw some curve balls, so anything is possible for this year’s crossover event.
Stephen Amell and his co-stars are currently gearing up for Season 7 of Arrow, which kicks off in under a week This year, Oliver finds himself in prison after revealing his true identity last season.
With Oliver behind bars, the rest of Team Arrow is forced to protect Star City without their fearless leader, which presents a lot of unique challenges to the vigilantes.
Season 7 of Arrow is scheduled to premiere Oct. 15 on The CW.
