We are only a few days away from the highly anticipated premiere of Season 7 of Arrow. At the end of last season, Olive Queen (Stephen Amell) came clean about his secret identity as the Green Arrow, which means he’s starting Season 7 in a place he never thought he would be: in prison. While Oliver’s journey will be a major part of the story, there’s plenty of other things to get excited about this season. Here is everything you need to know ahead of the premiere.
Team Arrow has undergone a lot of changes over the years. John Diggle (David Ramsey) and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) were one of the firsts to join Oliver in his quest to keep Star City safe, and past two seasons have introduced a few new faces to the team, including Mr. Terrific (Echo Kellum), Black Canary (Juliana Harkavy) and Wild Dog (Rick Gonzalez). With Oliver behind bars, however, Team Arrow will have to learn how to protect the city without him.

Their biggest challenge will be overcoming the new law that has made it a crime to be a vigilante in the city. This will make it difficult for Team Arrow to track down the show’s main villain, Richard Diaz (Kirk Acevedo), who is now targeting Felicity and William (Jack Moore), Oliver’s son.
Even worse, Netflix Life reports that Diaz is introducing some new henchmen of his own this season. This includes a group called the Longbow Hunters who feature some pretty nasty killers, like Kodiak (Michael Jonsson), the Silencer (Maranda Edwards), and Red Dart (Holly Elissa).
While Team Arrow cleans up the streets of Star City, Oliver is left to fend for himself in prison.
Considering how Oliver has put away a lot of criminals over the past seven years, his stint behind bars is not going to be easy.
Season 7 of Arrow is scheduled to premiere Oct. 15 on the CW.
