Arnold Schwarzenegger Is “Feeling Much Better” After His Surgery But More Improvement Is Needed

Arnold Schwarzenegger let his fans know he’s doing a lot better since the surgery on his heart. However, his health isn’t up to snuff yet, improvements are still needed.
The Predator alum underwent a surgical operation on his heart at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA, California. As you may know, Arnold was replacing a temporary valve that was put in back in the late 1990’s.
The 70-year-old action legend returned to social media just a few days following the procedure, and on Thursday, Arnold shared a video where he ensured fans of his improving health.
In the clip, Arnold said to his 15 million followers that he is “feeling much better,” and despite his normally positive attitude, the word “great,” is a little too much at the moment.
The actor said he feels “good,” rather than “great,” and he attributes that to the incredible medical attention he received including the nurses and doctors.
Daniell Ketchell, Arnold’s PR person, said that the former Governor of California needed to go under the knife again because of a procedure he had received over twenty years ago.
Alluding to the point made at the beginning of the article, Arnold had to have a pulmonic valve replaced that was put there back in 1997. At the time, it was meant to deal with a congenital heart defect but wasn’t a permanent replacement.
Daniel explained that the 1997 valve was put in there only for the temporary, so it would need an update eventually. His spokesperson confirmed that Arnold’s new surgical operation went along perfectly, and the valve was successfully replaced with more up-to-date technology which is “less intrusive.”
