Ariana Grande is busy releasing some more music after the massive success of Thank U, Next. Speaking of that song she dedicated to all of her exes, it sounds like her new track, titled ‘Imagine’ is also about her ‘failed relationships.’
The singer has been dealing with everything that happened to her this year by turning her pain into art, and she has no plans to stop anytime soon.
Ari has a lot more to say and a lot more music to share with the world – why not do both at the same time?
Earlier today, the artist took to her Insta Stories to announce that her upcoming song titled Imagine is also set to focus on her ‘failed relationships,’ just like Thank U, Next!
‘Imagine’ is expected to drop tomorrow evening and it is safe to say that Ariana’s fans are super excited to hear what else she has in store, both beat and message-wise.
The track is being released just about a month after she shared with the world how grateful she was for her former boyfriends, including Ricky Alvarez, Big Sean, Pete Davidson, and Mac Miller.
Ariana did not even shy away from name dropping all of those men from her past.
‘A lot of this album mourns failed yet important, beautiful relationships in my life (as well as celebrates growth / exploring new independence.) But for those of u asking about imagine: I’d say if ‘thank u, next’ = acceptance… ‘imagine’ = denial. hope that makes sense,’ she wrote on her Instagram Stories, teasing her new music.
During an interview with Billboard, the star explained that ‘I live fast and full-out, and I make mistakes, and I learn from them, and I’m grateful no matter what happens.’
With that in mind, her approach to those ‘failed relationships’ makes total sense!
