Ariana Grande has 58 million Twitter followers for a reason. She’s one of the most active A-list musicians and interacts regularly with her huge fan base. After receiving backlash for her latest single and her quickie engagement, the pop diva has decided to head to Snapchat where things are a bit calmer.
The 25-year-old shared a photo of herself from Snapchat that a fan took notice of. Ariana responded with: “Yeh ! i’m prolly gonna post on der for a little while & take a breather from twitter & ig for a little. just sometimes can’t help but bump into some negative s*** that really can bum u out and it’s not worth it honestly. promised i’d always tell you. i love u sm ! be well & happy.”
This following Grande’s recent release of the single and video for “God is a Woman” from her upcoming album, “Sweetener.”
Conservative media and social media users shamed the star for the song and visuals although it was meant metaphorically.
Additionally, her engagement to Pete Davidson has been making headlines since it was confirmed. It also came with scathing criticism.

From Pete having to defend himself for finding love while dealing with mental illness, to Ariana having to speak on an ill-made joke about the Manchester bombing — the couple have been through a lot for the short amount of time that they’ve been together.
Right now, Grande has to focus on her new album due out in less than a month.
Additionally, she just moved in with her new beau.
Not to mention the wedding planning that’s going on that the public doesn’t know much about.
At least with a social media profile like Snapchat, she can controls who contacts her whereas on more public platforms like Instagram and Twitter which means she will face less negativity and criticism.
