It turns out that Ariana Grande had no intentions of getting married to Pete Davidson. In fact, she didn’t have anything planned at all, neither a cake nor a dress.
A source who close to scene explained, “Ariana never got around to planning any of that stuff. In truth, she knew deep down inside she wouldn’t be getting married to Pete.”
“She liked Pete a lot, but part of her was still reeling from her relationship with Mac Miller, but then when he unexpectedly died, it broke her heart on such a fundamental level.”
The insider added, “it was too much, too soon; there’s no question about that.” Back in August, the star said on Good Morning America that she and the rest of her friends and family were “brainstorming” ideas.
“I’m just so excited,” the starlet told the Good Morning hosts. Additionally, Pete moved out of their multi-million-dollar home in New York City, which Grande paid for.
Reports revealed earlier in the year that Grande and Davidson had moved in together, but that soon fell apart. The building which included their apartment was massive, a source explained, adding that they had their own 75-foot indoor pool, an IMAX theater, as well as a private spa suite.
Davidson said to reporters from GQ Magazine that the apartment had everything, but joked they didn’t even have forks in it.
Reportedly, Grande was with her mother, Joan, over the weekend. She was spotted wearing a grey sweatshirt and green leggings. And she went shopping at Chanel with one of her friends.
On the other hand, Davidson was at the Judd & Pete For America benefit in West Hollywood, where he joked that “there was a lot going on,” in his life at the moment. The comedian stood up in front of the audience and asked if anybody had a roommate, referencing the reports that someone had created a GoFundMe page for Davidson’s living situation.
Furthermore, the Saturday Night Live star said he would be spending a lot of his time covering up tattoos. As fans of the couple know, Ariana and Pete got matching body art.
