It looks like Ariana Grande is ready to move on from what has been and look forward to a better future. That being said, the singer has covered up a second Pete Davidson-inspired tattoo, and it makes total sense why she’d want to do that considering they are no longer an item.
That being said, Ariana’s ‘reborn’ couple-tattoo she got during this past summer with the SNL comedian, has been covered up by what looks like either a leaf or a feather.
The fans noticed the change after the songstress took to her Instagram Stories to post a Boomerang of her drinking with friends.
As the pals cheered their glasses, Ariana’s hand was visible and so was the new tattoo!
In the captioned, she wrote: ‘I have no words to even describe how much I love and I am eternally grateful for these human beings who constantly help me turn lemons into lemonade and heal me and put me back together.’ Fitting!
It sounds like the lemons represent her failed relationship with the SNL comedian, but good friends can indeed make things so much better!
As you may remember, earlier this month, Ariana broke the engagement and soon after, she was caught covering up her ‘Pete’ tattoo with a Band-Aid while performing in A Very Wicked Halloween musical TV special.
One source previously told ET that it was she who decided it was over and that Pete was heartbroken.
‘Ariana made the final decision. It was time to realize this was not the right time for them and Pete’s incredibly heartbroken. Pete’s still so in love with her. He wanted his entire world to revolve around her, but she was emotionally unavailable. He realizes that she was at her limit with pressure from everybody and everything around her. There were days when she just wanted to run away from the world just to get some peace and quiet and some peace of mind. Pete had to give her that space out of love.’
