Losing someone so close to her has been very painful, and apparently, the singer cannot imagine ever getting over the tragedy. As fans may know, Ariana Grande has been doing her very best to accept Mac Miller’s death and move on with her life but it sounds like the debilitating sadness she has been feeling is not really fading as time goes by.
To deal with the rapper’s death, Ariana has taken a break from social media and even ended her engagement with Pete Davidson!
While she is doing all of this to heal and take care of her mental health, she has reportedly realized it’s nearly impossible for her to get over Mac’ passing.
An insider shared with HollywoodLife that ‘Ariana is okay right now, she’s doing ‘okay’, that’s the best way to describe the situation. If you were to ask her directly how she is doing, her answer would vary from hour to hour—because not surprisingly, given what she has gone through, her emotions are up and down, but she is dealing with things, gradually and slowly.’
‘It takes time to heal, to process the trauma, and to come to terms with it, and that is the best Ariana can hope for right now, to come to terms with things. Ariana knows she is never going to ‘get over’ Mac’s death, she is never going to be ‘over it’, but, she hopes, that she will learn a way, with time, to at least live with it,’ they explained.
According to the outlet’s source, one of the thoughts that haunt her the most is the fact that she will never be able to reach out to her ex-boyfriend again.
‘Knowing she can never pick up the phone and speak to Mac again, is devastating. Knowing she’ll never bump into him, or see him again in person, is heartbreaking, but she will get through this, she is strong and has a lot of people around her who love and care for her, and with good reason.’
