A divorce process is never simple, and two of Brad Pitt and estranged wife Angelina Jolie’s children are having a tough time with the situation compared to the other four.
According to a source, who spoke to New Idea, 13-year-old Pax, Zahara, 12, and twins Vivienne and Knox, nine have accepted the situation. However, Maddox, 16, and Shiloh, 11, are torn between their two parents.
The Australian publication claimed that Maddox is still angry at his father.
Earlier this year, it was claimed that Pitt and Maddox had an altercation while on a private jet which prompted Jolie to intervene and later file for divorce.
Shiloh, who was aware of the incident, sided with her mother when her parents split. But, things have changed, and she is now starting to miss her father.
The young girl has reportedly asked her mom to leave and be with her dad.
The insider told the magazine: “Shiloh is taking [the divorce] the hardest. She is a daddy’s girl, and she is apparently upset with her mom for keeping them apart. Angelina is trying to explain that it is for the best, but the kids do not see it that way.”
Shiloh is not alone. Pax also prefers to be with Pitt.
The source claimed: “Recently, Pax and Shiloh told Angelina that they would prefer to live with their father. Pax and Shiloh have always had a strong bond, and both of them have long felt more compatible, emotionally, with Brad. If Pax and Shiloh want to be with Brad, she is in an unwinnable situation. How can you claim you are doing what’s best for the kids when you are ignoring their stated wishes?”
According to the family friend, here is the reason why the brother and sister are so attached to Pitt: “Brad is a cool dude and brings his kids sometimes. He used to come on a regular basis with his daughter Shiloh and son Pax. They usually spent time looking at acoustic travel guitars, which are perfect for young kids, and electric guitars like the Squire Electric Guitar made by Fender. These are entry-level guitars. Then we have the drums upstairs. The kids and Brad would just play whatever they wanted. Brad seemed to encourage them. Nice guy, great father.”
The two Hollywood actors will have to reach an agreement for the sake of their children.
