Motherhood fulfills Angelina Jolie, and she is seriously thinking about adopting another child, and it seems that her soon-to-be ex-husband, Brad Pitt, is torn about the idea. The pair shares six children and is currently working through a nasty divorce and custody battle.
According to Hollywood Life, as soon as the divorce is finalized and she is done with her upcoming film, Maleficent 2, the mother of Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, Vivienne, 10, and Knox, 10, hopes to give them a sibling.
Angelina is thinking of becoming a mom to one of the many Syrian refugees she sees suffering in the news and via her humanitarian trips.
A source close to the actress stated: “[Angelina’s] planning to adopt another child once she’s done filming and promoting Maleficent 2.”
The friend believes that it also has to do with “empty nest syndrome” because she feels it is the right time to adopt a baby based on the fact that “the kids are growing up and don’t need her as much.”
The pal went on to tell the publication: “Angie’s always wanted to help Syrian refugees. She really wants to do this. It breaks Angie’s heart every time she sees a kid suffering. She still has so much love to give.”
The same publication claims that Brad feels that his life is complete and is not interested in having more kids at this point.
A second source stated: “Brad has no desire to adopt any more children at this point in his life. He loves every one of his children and does not feel the need to grow his family any bigger. He has enough kids to worry about.”
The tipster explained: “It has been a rough year for all of them, so she is worried about what is best for them constantly. She has no more choice in the matter, so she feels a bit helpless, and a loss of control.”
A judge recently went after Jolie because: “The six children for not having a relationship with their father is harmful to them because it is critical that each of them have a healthy and strong relationship with their two parents.”
The insider went on to explain that Angelina is working hard to “make the best of it” because she wants her children to be happy and thriving with the help of their father.
Commenters are hopeful that the two Hollywood actors will make peace.
