Angelina Jolie’s plan to take her six children abroad was halted amid her custody battle with former husband Brad Pitt. The actress is filming the sequel to Maleficent in London, but was allegedly forbidden to leave the country with her kids in tow.
Jolie was planning on taking her six kids — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox — to London to film the movie but her plans to leave were delayed as her custody battle with Pitt rages on. Pitt and Jolie have been locked in a bitter custody war ever since they separated. Their fight centers on the now infamous private plane incident, where a drunk Pitt allegedly abused one of his kids.
Since then, Jolie has kept a tight leash on her kids. The actress is fighting for full custody of the brood and has been trying to limit Pitt’s access. Pitt, on the other hand, has turned his life around since the divorce and stopped drinking. He is looking for joint custody and remains an important part in the lives of his children.

According to OK Magazine, sources say that Jolie was livid when she learned that she couldn’t take the kids to London. Experts believe that Jolie is trying to raise the kids on her own and wants full control over what they do. Unfortunately for Jolie, she will have to learn how to co-parent with Pitt, who still has the right to say no when it comes to the kids.
Although Jolie’s plans were initially delayed, she did get to take the kids to London. This week, the actress was spotted on the set of Maleficent 2 in London and a few of her kiddos made an appearance as well. A jubilant Jolie even took some time to talk about aging and how she knows she’s getting older whenever she looks in the mirror.
]Maleficent 2 is Jolie’s first appearance onscreen since her 2015 film, By the Sea, which also starred Pitt. Jolie also directed and wrote the 2017 movie, First They Killed My Father. Although it’s good to see Jolie in front of the cameras once again, sources say that she hasn’t started dating anyone new — at least not yet.
“She is absolutely not seeing anyone and will not be,” an insider dished on Jolie’s love life. “She will focus only on their children and being with them. She has no interest in dating at all.”
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have remained mum on the details surrounding their never-ending divorce proceedings.
