Angelina Jolie’s divorce from Brad Pitt has been moving at an extremely slow pace since she filed back in September 2016, but that isn’t keeping the Oscar winner from moving on and attempting to find balance in her new life as a single mom, superstar actress, and humanitarian. So, what is Jolie doing now to make sure she isn’t living an empty life?
According to the Christian Post, Jolie recently revealed that being a celebrity doesn’t exempt her from the struggles of being a single mother, and she is constantly trying to achieve balance now that she is taking care of her six children mostly on her own.
And, right now, that means no new relationships for the 42-year-old. Instead, she says to be a balanced person you need to find things that you purely enjoy, and she is doing that through film projects that have a sense of social responsibility.

Jolie uses her last two films – First They Killed My Father and The Breadwinner – as examples of what she loves to do. First They Killed My Father is about a Cambodian political activist and her life under the Khmer Rouge, and The Breadwinner tells the story of a young Afghan girl who cuts her hair and dresses like a boy, so she can support her family after her father goes to prison.
The Salt actress became close friends with The Breadwinner director, Nora Twomey. And while Jolie worked on the project, the women frequently shared thoughts and ideas on how to be balanced individuals while focusing on their careers and raising their kids.
In addition to finding things you enjoy, Jolie also says you have to find a way to be useful.
“But, of course, if you aren’t participating in the bigger picture of life, and in being somehow useful. You’ll have quite an empty life,” revealed Jolie.
One thing she hasn’t been focusing on is the reconciliation rumor about Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. While a Brad-Jen 2.0 romance is highly unlikely, a new report this week claims that Aniston saved some of the post-it notes Pitt had once written her, and Justin Theroux found them, which led to moments of insecurity.

The notes contained messages like “Miss you already,” and “You looked nice tonight,” and Aniston assured Theroux that they weren’t a big deal. But, he wasn’t thrilled.
As for Pitt and Jolie, despite their split, they are going to continue one business venture together: wine production. Their latest product, pink rose, is scheduled to come out this week and it will have the Jolie-Pitt name on the label.
The wine originates from the former couple’s Miraval chateau in France, and 47-year-old winemaker Marc Perrin helped create it. He says the new product has a smooth and silky taste and texture, and he is very proud of it.
Angelina Jolie has not commented on Jennifer Aniston’s split and the reconciliation rumors surrounding her estranged husband.
