Multiple reports have surfaced claiming that Angelina Jolie is spoiling her six children to keep them happy during her divorce from Brad Pitt. But, a source close to the Oscar winner says that those claims are completely false.
“As far as them becoming spoiled brats, that’s not a realistic accusation or worry because Angelina works tirelessly to make them citizens of the world,” says an insider. “They’re all keenly aware of the struggles facing the less fortunate because they’ve seen it firsthand.”

Jolie has often gone to great lengths to make sure her kids are aware of the struggles many children face in different countries around the world, and she wants to raise them to be empathetic to the plights of others. The actress believes that she has provided her kids with well-rounded and worldly experiences, like visiting war zones and poverty-stricken areas.
The insider says that Jolie’s kids do not live sheltered lives like most Hollywood offspring. She is making sure that they are learning humanitarianism alongside her, and she feels that their hearts are in the right places.
According to Hollywood Life, Jolie is raising her kids to want to make a difference in the world, and they are “far from spoiled” says the source.
But, conflicting reports claim that Jolie is spoiling them during her ongoing custody battle with Pitt. Apparently, if they want to go shopping, Jolie allows it. And if they want to go hiking, then that is what they do. Jolie is “trying her hardest to spoil them,” says another insider because she is willing to do anything to make sure she gets custody.
Jolie is also claiming that Pitt hasn’t been paying his fair sure when it comes to child support. Pitt says he has already given her over $9 million in the past two years to help with the kids’ expenses and to buy a home. That total includes $1.3 million for bills to benefit the six kids — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne — and an $8 million loan to purchase a $25 million estate.

Spending millions of dollars on kids and buying a multi-million dollar mansion for them to live in may seem to many like Jolie is spoiling them, and her accusation of Pitt being a deadbeat dad could just be a tactic to make her look like the better parent.
Jolie and Pitt currently have a temporary custody agreement in place, and the kids are splitting their time between the two, per a court order. However, they do not have a written child support agreement, and Jolie has requested retroactive child support and a formal agreement from the court.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are due back in court next month.
