Angelina Jolie continues to try to get through each day after her nasty split with Brad Pitt, but a tabloid is reporting that her divorce, custody battle, and career could be too much for the mom of six to handle. Could the Oscar winner be headed for a meltdown?
Life & Style is reporting that while Jolie continues to pile on the work, her friends are asking her to slow down, but that’s not how she does things. Instead, she has signed on to Maleficent 2 and The One and Only Ivan, plus she is campaigning to direct and star in a biopic about wildlife conservationist Jane Goodall. However, an insider claims she is trying to do too much.
“She feels like she needs to be everything to everyone,” says the source, “a full-time mom, human rights activist, UN spokesperson, glamorous actress, director, and producer.”
The tabloid goes on to say that there are red flags about Jolie’s heavy workload, including suffering from hypertension and Bell’s Palsy back in 2016. Their source also claimed that the Girl, Interrupted star isn’t eating like she should or taking care of herself. Because she has been taking on so much, her friends are reportedly worried that she is heading for a breakdown.
But, is all of this really true? According to Gossip Cop, absolutely not.
The rumor-debunking website busts the story, and it’s so-called source, by pointing out factual errors, the magazine’s previous false claims, and the source’s supposed use of Wikipedia to describe Jolie’s workload.
Jolie took a year off after filing for divorce in September 2016, and in this past month she masterfully balanced her obligations of her career, humanitarian work, and being a single mom.
The 42-year-old is doing her best, like all working moms, and Gossip Cop’s source says that Jolie knows that taking care of herself is the key to taking care of her family. The actress isn’t perfect, but the situation the tabloid described has no basis in reality.

According to People Magazine, Jolie and her kids are actually moving on with their lives, while she and Pitt work out time for him to be with the children. The actress and the Jolie-Pitt clan live in a $24 million mansion, filling their days with tutors for different school subjects and various physical activities.
The family also travels the globe, and the oldest boys – Maddox, 16, and Pax, 14 – worked on Jolie’s latest film First They Killed My Father.
Angelina Jolie recently thanked her children as she accepted an award for her refugee work at the UN Correspondents Association dinner in New York City. She said she is proud of who they are growing up to be and that gives her hope for the future.
