It seems like the entire Hollywood is speaking up against the controversial producer! Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie are the latest stars who are accusing Harvey Weinstein of sexually assaulting them.
In a new article published today, Paltrow recalled meeting the producer before starting to film Emma.
The actress, who was only 22 at the time, was asked to come to Weinstein’s hotel suite.
That is when he put his hands on her and suggested they should head to his bedroom for massages.
Paltrow remembers being petrified but vigorously denying his advantages.
She then told as many people related to him as possible as well as her then-boyfriend Brad Pitt about what had taken place, and the actor strongly confronted the producer, making sure he’d never do it again.
But even though she had Brad there for her, taking Gwyneth’s side, Weinstein still screamed at her for minutes afterward, berating her for telling on him.
Paltrow recalls being scared of losing her role in Emma.
Angelina Jolie also recalled Weinstein making unwanted advances towards her back in 1998, during the release of Playing by Heart.
‘I had a bad experience with Harvey Weinstein in my youth, and as a result, chose never to work with him again and warn others when they did. This behavior towards women in any field, any country is unacceptable,’ Angie opened up without going into much detail about what happened.
