According to a new report, the chances of Angelina Jolie losing the custody of her and Brad Pitt’s six kids might be bigger than it was initially rumored. HollywoodLife talked to a lawyer who revealed that the actress’ alleged interference in the young ones’ relationship with their father could be perceived as ‘abusive.’
Family Law attorney David Pisarra explained to the outlet that ‘If Angelina is intentionally interfering with Brad’s relationship with the children, that is abusive behavior. A court can say she is abusing these children by interfering with the relationship with their own father, by bad mouthing him to them, by preventing visitations, by souring the relationship, and as a consequence of that, the court can decide to give the kids to the other parent, and make her go to therapy and learn about how she is abusing their children.’
The California based attorney went on to say that ‘a judge may deem Angie’s behavior and actions abusive and in turn grant Brad custody or make some other judgment in Brad’s favor.’
On the other hand, the lawman seems to believe ‘Brad is pushing for 50/50 custody of the kids right now. His lawyers are probably screaming for at least 50/50, if not primary custody because Angelina’s behavior is becoming so egregious and abusive to the children that it’s in their best interest to live with their father, not their mother.’
As you may be aware, not too long ago, it was also reported that Angelina accused her ex of not paying any child support for over a year and a half, claim immediately denied by a rep of the actor.
