If you’re watching American Horror Story: Apocalypse, then you are aware that Cody Fern is playing Michael Langdon, who appears to be the Antichrist. We’ve seen that the end of the world is due to a battle between witches and warlocks and there isn’t a hell mouth known to humanity that Langdon can’t rule. Even depraved serial killer James March fears Langdon, and March fears no one, well, no one human at least.
We learned in August that Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy were bringing several characters back from Season one’s “Murder House” and so far, the crossovers are a huge hit with fans. On the October 3, 2018, episode of AHS “Could It Be…Satan?” we got a brief look at Michael Langdon’s past. We saw that before the apocalypse he was in training to be the Alpha, or male supreme who would supersede the witches in power.
We also saw that Langdon has the power to not only enter the Hotel Cortez at will and leave with any ghost he chooses, but he also has the authority to command hell.
Why yes, Ryan Murphy and Brad Fulchuk, he could be Satan!
As viewers piece together exactly who Michael Langdon is it appears it will all be made clear in the October 17, 2018, upcoming episode “Return To Murder House.”
There is a lot of excitement stirring for the episode as Jessica Lange, Connie Britton, Dylan McDermott, and Taissa Farmiga will reprise their roles from the first season.

Hints as to who Michael Langdon is will be found in Season 1 and fans of the series will recall that Jessica Lange played Constance Langdon in the season.
Constance was the mother of Tate Langdon (played by Evan Peters) and grandmother to the ghost/human abomination Vivien Harmon conceived when Tate assaulted her. His name was Michael.
There was an early reference in Season 1 that the child born to Tate and Vivien would be the Antichrist. Those who watched the Season 1 finale will recall that in the final season, Constance Langdon was raising her grandson Michael. She returned home from the hair salon to discover the child had murdered Flora.
Fans are sharing their excitement for this season and it is the first time AHS has tied in previous stories in such a concise way.
The return of Britton, Lange, and McDermott is highly anticipated and positive feedback on Cody Fern’s Michael Langdon is running high.
There’s no doubt that Falchuk and Murphy continue to keep fans at the edge of their seats.
