We have learned that 20-year-old Faith Rodgers has sued R. Kelly for false imprisonment, sexual battery and not disclosing an STD! The alleged victim says she was 19 when she met the singer at an after-concert party.
That being said, she is accusing R. Kelly of locking her up for hours back in March of last year and more!
During that time, he ‘willfully, deliberately and maliciously infected her with herpes.’
In addition to that during their almost one year of dating, she was abused verbally, mentally as well as sexually.
The New York Times has confirmed that the lawsuit was filed yesterday in New York City.
R. Kelly’s management is yet to comment on the scandal.
During an interview for CBS This Morning, Faith claimed that after a couple of months of texts, phone conversations, and FaceTiming, Kelly flew her to NYC for a concert. He also paid for her hotel room.
On that trip, she alleges that the man came into her room and asked her to get naked.
‘He turns on all the lights and he is like, ‘Take off your clothes’ and he says it with authority in his voice. I did not take off my clothes because why would I? I just was not ready for sex,’ she claims.
Despite that, they still ended up being intimate even if she did not want to and Kelly even recorded it on his iPad without consent!
‘He has this type of intimidation right off the bat, so I was just waiting for it to be over,’ she added during her interview.
Rodgers also told CBS News that he first locked her in a car for no less than 8 hours!
In addition, she revealed that ‘He goes on to tell me that he raises five women—some of them have been with him for 15 years, and he basically was trying to make it seem like it was a family thing,’ and he wanted her to join.
