Is it possible actor Alexander Skarsgard injured himself while carving a Thanksgiving turkey? The Hollywood entertainer posted a picture of his cut hand yesterday prompting many of his fans to wonder as to how he sliced himself open.
The 41-year-old actor uploaded a photo of his hand on Thursday evening and in the post, he thanked the medical professional who helped him out in a hospital in Lachute, Quebec, Canada.
He shouted out to the nurse, Rosalie, who “saved” his life with their “swift and heroic action” and revealed he got stitches. After his initial message – while jokingly make a reference to a common phrase among prison inmates, he wrote, “#SnitchesGetStiches.”
As a response, many of his friends and fans told him to get well soon and wished him on his way to a “speedy recovery.”
Reportedly, Skarsgard is in Canada this past week filming the movie, The Hummingbird Project, which he co-stars alongside Jesse Eisenberg and Salma Hayek.
Just last month, the actor had all of his friends seriously worried after the performer had his hair cut into the style of a man with a receding hairline. In fact, the image is him with the top of his head shaved off entirely.
According to reports, his character has a bald head, so fans needn’t worry, it’s merely a part of his on-stage persona.
Skarsgard, Eisenberg, and Hayek are filming the new movie in Quebec, Canada, as the francophone province belonging to our neighbors up north are notorious for cheaper production costs, incentivizing Hollywood workers to shoot their films north of the border. Be that as it may, we hope Alexander is a little more careful with his hands next time.
