Alexander Polinsky, who starred in Charles in Charge along with Nicole Eggert, has officially made sexual harassment and abuse allegations against Scott Baio. He is represented by Lisa Bloom and the two will hold a press conference on February 14, 2018, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Bloom also represents Nicole Eggert, and it was announced that Eggert will make a small statement at the press conference.
Alexander Polinsky first made references to inappropriate behavior involving Scott Baio in December 2017. Nicole Eggert retweeted several of his tweets until Baio issued a cease and desist against the two of them. Both had remained silent until Nicole Eggert reignited controversy when on January 27, 2018, she responded to a tweet making her claims against Baio official.
Scott Baio held a Facebook live stream where he denied ever abusing Nicole Eggert or Alexander Polinsky and alleged the two of them were conspiring against him. He shared copies of the cease and desist letters his legal team sent both and challenged them to go to the police if they had real allegations against him.
On February 6, 2018, Alexander Polinsky and Nicole Eggert, accompanied by their attorney Lisa Bloom, officially filed complaints against Scott Baio. Scott Baio has continued to state that he is innocent and denies all wrongdoing.
There are many questions that those following the case Nicole Eggert and Alexander Polinsky have against Scott Baio are asking. Some are curious as to what they feel the end game will be.
At this point in time, no one has filed suit for monetary damages against Baio, and when Nicole Eggert was asked what she hoped the outcome would be, she stated she would like an apology. She has said she wants Baio to come clean.
At this point, it’s unclear whether Alexander Polinsky and/or Nicole Eggert will announce a civil suit against Scott Baio.
