With the presidential inauguration just a couple days away ex-WWE superstar Alberto Del Rio has voiced his opinion on Donald Trump. Alberto, noting that he risked a deportation, called the president-elect a “dumbass”. It’s not a surprising comment to anyone who follows Del Rio, as he has never been a big fan of the Donald.
Alberto Del Rio responded with a prayer when he was asked for his thoughts on Trump’s inauguration this Friday.
He prayed for all the citizens of the country – because let’s face it, we all need it – then proceeded to say that he still thinks Trump is a “dumbass”.
He joked that he risked being deported and having his citizenship taken away before he made the comment.
Back in December of last year, Alberto came for Trump, saying that Vince McMahon would make a better president than him. Besides that he double flipped him too. You can definitely tell that Alberto dislikes Trump with a passion.
Del Rio also talked about his new adventure as the president of Combate Americas, a mixed martial arts franchise that focuses on Hispanic fighters, although he stated that fighters of a different nationality are more than welcome to come and show their skills in the squared circle.
Alberto was also asked if he was the Dana White of the new venture. With a smile on his face, he admitted that it was the perfect way to describe him, as his job was to find talent and make them into superstars.
That makes complete sense as superstars are the most valuable asset for the company in terms of selling tickets, attracting sponsors and making money for all the parties involved parties!
