Chelsea Houska’s ex-boyfriend, Adam Lind, left prison after officials sent the man away to jail for violating his probation. Authorities took the Teen Mom 2 star to the slammer for violating his restraining order on the 5th of December.
In a report from Radar Online, the 28-year-old reality star was able to exit the prison due to a “personal recognizance bond.” A clerk said in the publication that “he agreed to show up at court for his next hearing” so his bail was dropped.
According to the website, nolo.com, a “personal recognizance bond” is a contract – or a written statement – where the defendant agrees to show up for the future date, and the defendant doesn’t need to pay bail.
Police arrested Lind last month for hitting his ex-girlfriend, Stasia Huber, who filed and received a restraining order against the reality star.
Adam – who shares a daughter with Houska who is 8-years-old – as well as a 4-year-old daughter with Taylor Halbur, has had many encounters with the police in the past.
The Teen Mom 2 star received charges of driving under the influence several times as well as driving without a license.
On the August 7th episode of Teen Mom 2, officials tested Lind for methamphetamines, and the results came back positive.
As you may know, Lind made his way on to MTV for the first time on the popular series, 16 & Pregnant, where he appeared during the second season. At the time, Houska was pregnant with Aubree in 2010.
The reality television series finished its eighth season this year and wrapped it up by including a narrative whereby Houska intended to change the name of her daughter, Aubree, to include the last name of her new husband.
