A couple of days ago, another season of The Voice ended in the victory of a talented contestant, Sundance Head, who was one of the many winners under the coaching of Blake Shelton.
However lucky his coaching is, we have learned that while waiting for his lover Gwen Stefani to make a comeback as a judge on the show, Shelton is having beef with his longtime frienemy, Adam Levine, who is intent on starting drama these days.
According to an insider, Adam was unable to accept defeat and accused Blake of rigging the results in the favor of his own contestant. “Adam said that Blake had totally rigged it, and Blake told Adam that he was just a sore loser after the show wrapped. Adam does not like losing – especially to Blake.”
Fans of The Voice might remember that, ever since the show started, Adam Levine coached three of the winners, and this year, fan favorite contestant, Billy Gilman was also under his guidance. However, Gillman did not manage to win and this sent Levine into a frenzy of ‘sore-loserness’
According to a source, “The two are in constant competition with each other and always have been.”
We always thought they looked like close friends though, but maybe they are, just really competitive.
“The fact that their contestants were up against each other as the final two really made for some serious backstage animosity,” added the insider.
After the show ended, it seems like the tension between the two judges grew and Adam refused to accept defeat gracefully. At the same time, Blake did not lose a single opportunity to brag about his victory. This, of course, upset Adam.
“Adam did not congratulate Blake. But Blake was apparently trying to rub his win in everyone’s face. He was telling everyone that his ‘country boy,’ won and it was just extremely obnoxious,” shared the insider.
