We’ve learned that Abby Lee Miller is getting ready to leave the federal prison in Victorville, California where she’s been serving her one year and a day sentence for the past seven months. One insider told us that the Dance Moms star is going to be moving to a ‘stricter BOP-run halfway house in nearby Van Nuys. Here’s how she is preparing for the transfer.
‘Abby had to follow very strict protocol for her exit from FCI Victorville. As far as what she’ll be allowed to walk out of the prison in, she’d to submit a detailed description of exactly what she’ll wear 60 days prior to her release,’ the source explained adding that she asked for a ‘pair of shoes and a very simple outfit,’
‘The request needed to be detailed, including what type, color, size, etc. The same goes for her bra and underwear. Abby’ll also be able to take her personal items bought from the commissary. ‘
Miller will be spending the rest of her sentence in a Southern California halfway house.
Our prison insider added that ‘Abby will need to have to have an approved person who has a car with a documented license plate submit a request that includes the model of the car she’ll use to be transported from Victorville to the halfway house.’
‘She’ll have anywhere from four to five hours to get from the prison to the house. She’s not allowed to stop at any location other than halfway, where she’s allowed to go through a drive-through to get some fast food. Once she arrives, the fun’s just begun. It’s hell! While she’s there, she gets no freedom and is still under the BOP rules.’
In addition, the star will also have to take a urine and breathalyzer test.
The source went on to share that ‘After they do her paperwork and assign her a bunk, she’ll be required to stay in the room for a few days while they process her info. She’ll be fed awful food provided by the staff and will have a hard mattress, two sheets, and one pillowcase.’
