It turns out that stars also get sucked into binge-watchable TV shows and some of their favorite characters become incredibly important to them. This happened to Rihanna back in 2014 as the makeup mogul, songstress and fashion icon started watching Breaking Bad, after then-boyfriend Drake suggested it to her.
Aaron Paul, who plays Jesse Pinkman in the highly regarded, critically acclaimed and award-winning series, was recently on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon where he told a story about meeting both Drake and Rihanna, at separate times.
Drake and Paul met randomly in a parking garage in Paris. While they exchanged pleasantries, Drake mentioned that he loved the show so much he even got Rihanna into it.
Not too long after that, Paul was out and about and Rihanna happened to spot him from her SUV. Paul says that the SUV stopped, Rihanna jumped out and starting running right towards him.
Paul recounts the story with fondness saying that he couldn’t believe she was actually running in his direction for him specifically.
Rihanna threw her arms around him and told him how much she absolutely adored the show. Later, she even posted a picture on Twitter of the two meeting.
You can tell they’re both pretty ecstatic to be meeting the other.

So it appears that stars really are just like us. They get star struck by each other. They can’t believe beautiful pop stars would stop and embrace them. They binge watch televisions shows that they just can’t get enough of.
This also speaks to how when two people are dating, Drake and Rihanna in this case, there is never a shortage of recommendations when it comes to what they might enjoy.
Whether that be a book or a movie or a TV show, we’re all likely to encourage the people we like to consume and like the things we do.
Since Breaking Bad’s end, it still remains one of the most talked about shows in recent history and with the presence of streaming services like Netflix, new fans are being exposed to the show all the time.
