Brandon Johnson admitted to giving Demi Lovato ‘dirty’ prescription drugs the night she overdosed, and now, it seems that he is a wanted man. The LA County D.A. reportedly issued a warrant for his arrest reported TMZ via Page Six.
Johnson failed to appear for an arrangement stemming from his arrest dating back in June for cocaine possession and DUI.
Once he is apprehended, he will be held on $26,000 bail, according to TMZ’s reports.
Back in March, he was arrested again for felony possession of a firearm and narcotics. He then reportedly has $10,000 cash, and he was also carrying a fully loaded semi-automatic handgun.
When the police searched for Johnson’s residence, they allegedly also uncovered ‘additional narcotics, ammunition, [a] high capacity gun, rifle magazines, and three handguns, one of which was stolen,’ the Los Angeles Daily News was reporting at the time.
He admitted to providing Demi with prescription drugs, but he claimed that they were not pharmaceutical. They were instead oxycodone laced with fentanyl.
He will not face any charges related to her overdose in July because the incident was treated as a medical emergency and not a crime.
After he left Demi’s house, an assistant called 911 when she was found unconscious and unresponsive in her bed. The assistant said that they thought she had died.
‘Responding paramedics reportedly revived Lovato with Narcan, an emergency drug that reverses the effects of an opiate overdose,’ Page Six reports.
