Gwen Stefani is getting ready to rock the city of Las Vegas, the Sin City of America. According to a source who spoke with E! News, the singer and reality star is getting “very close” to finishing up a deal regarding her future residency in Las Vegas.
At the moment, “inside negotiations” are taking place and the star might appear at the Zappos Theater inside Planet Hollywood. The insider shared, “Gwen’s visit to Vegas last weekend was a big clue to her future residency.” Last week, J-Lo and Gwen uploaded a photo together on Instagram.
“It looks like she’ll be staying there. There’s a lot of good money in it, and it doesn’t require her to travel on the road as much, or at all, so I wouldn’t doubt it if it was a sure thing.”
As for what led to Stefani considering a series of Las Vegas concerts, an insider claimed it’s because of her kids and husband, Blake Shelton.
Gwen doesn’t want to be far away from her children, and if she left on a big world tour, she would have to do precisely that, which she’s not willing to do.
The source shared, “there’s a lot of flexibility when it comes to playing shows in Las Vegas. It’s in the same location every time, and it’s just way easier.”
Furthermore, Gwen and her old bandmates from No Doubt might be reuniting for shows as well, but it might be called, “Gwen Stefani with No Doubt.”
As you may know, Stefani became a massive pop star in the 1990’s following her and No Doubt’s success as a band. Later on, Stefani embarked on a solo career and had even more success with songs like “Hollaback Girl.”
Celebrity Insider reported previously that Gwen isn’t alone in Vegas, as many other stars are performing in the casino-capital of the USA including Lady Gaga among others. Zedd, the music producer, and DJ, recently signed on as well.
